Bruce

We have a balcony. It's north facing and this fact combined with a latent inability to garden has meant that most of our plants die every winter. We kill ivy. Yes, you read that correctly. We. Kill. Ivy. Recently we bought a eucalyptus tree, a Tasmanian Snow Gum. We live in hope that the gum tree, which is thriving, will survive the winter.

The colour of the leaves is a beautiful chalky green and when it rains the leaves repel the water and droplets form in small clusters.
