Big skies

Always striking when leaving Paris are the big skies and the long views. Our week in the Loire offered us plenty of big skies. Like this one.
Big, open blue blue skies. What's not to like?
I was taken with this lone tree on the horizon.
Ten minutes later the sky looked like this.

As we headed home from our cycle ride the sky was blue topped with rather ominous looking grey clouds. They passed by quickly enough.

Paris also treats us to big skies, though not in all parts of the city. One of the best places to see a magnificent sky is down by the river.
Place de la Concorde.
And of course from up by the Sacré Cœur.
I was surprised to find a big sky down by the Louvre...though I suspect trickery.
